As a Deputy Chairman in the House Committee on FCT Judiciary within the 10th House of Representatives, Representative Ibe Okwara holds a significant position. On the 12th June 2023, Hon Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa became a dynamic member of the National Assembly. He has actively participated in over 6 crucial motions, contributing to national development and public well-being of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency. 1. Need for Urgent intervention on erosion affected areas in Amaekpu, Elu, Ebem, Ndi-Uduma Awoke, Nkporo, Abiriba and Okpo Ihechiowa.

2. Urgent need to establish a peacekeeping post in Isu Community to aid peace over a long boundary dispute.

3. Urgent need to Re-Energise Ohafia Local Government Electricity Power and reconcile exorbitant bills awarded to the communities.

4. Urgent need to Re-establish a Military Base in Isu to bring a permanent Solution to her long Boundary Dispute .

Motions Moved Ibe Okwara is a firm believer in equity and takes action to challenge the injustices he observes in society.

Country Economic

In 2017, he initiated a foundation that provided food to the Gongola Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Abuja. Through strategic partnerships with NGOs to create a safer, sustainable, society.

Medical Service

He has organized free medical and healthcare outreaches in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGA, worth over US$3.5 million in 2018 and 2019. and many more.

Women Rights

He is currently partnering with relevant agencies to implement policies and legislation that promote Women Rights. The objective is to create a safer, more sustainable, and productive society.

Foreign Policy

To enable Nigerian's have an ease of doing business with foreigners, He Sponsored the HB 256: Freight Forwarding Bill, 2023, which await a second an third reading.

Focus on Education

He transformed education in Abia State by facilitating the first smart school in Abia State at the Ofali Akwu Secondary School, Amaekpu Ohafia. Among many Scholarships awarded.
